Your privacy is critically important to us. At AccrediMatch, we have a few fundamental principles:

  1. We don’t ask you for personal information unless we truly need it. 
  2. We don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products, or protect our rights.
  3. We store personal information on our secured servers only when required for job matching services or the ongoing operation of one of our services.

This AccrediMatch Privacy Policy applies to AccrediMatch ’s online platforms located at www.AccrediMatch.com website; AccrediMatch ’s mobile application, and all other related services available through AccrediMatch ’s technology and products.  

AccrediMatch LLC, a Texas limited liability company and its affiliates (“AccrediMatch,” “we,” or “us”) connects independent healthcare professionals (“Caregiver” or “Caregivers”), as self-employed or independent contractors, to healthcare organizations (“HCOs”) for the purpose of engaging in business-to-business arrangements whereby the two may contract for services needed by the HCO.

Application & Website Visitors

Like most application or website operators, AccrediMatch collects non-personally identifying information of the sort that app/website and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. AccrediMatch’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how AccrediMatch’s visitors use its app/website. From time to time, AccrediMatch may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its app/website. AccrediMatch also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, mobile phone number, email address, and usage information for logged-in users.

Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information

Certain visitors to AccrediMatch’s website or application choose to interact with AccrediMatch in ways that require AccrediMatch to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that AccrediMatch gathers depend on the nature of the interaction. In each case, AccrediMatch collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with AccrediMatch. AccrediMatch does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. Visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website/app-related activities.

You may give us Personal Information about You by filling in forms through our Services or by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail, or otherwise.

We generally collect:

  • Contact and registration information, including Your name, email address, physical address, phone number, photos and username.
  • Eligibility and identity verification information, including: licenses and credentials, driver license number, social security number, and experience. Please note, work eligibility and identity documentation may contain information about Your citizenship status, which is considered “sensitive” personal information under certain state privacy laws.
  • Payment information including payment account information.
  • Additional scheduling information, in some instances we may also access Your calendar information or location for scheduling purposes and to enable You to discover available visit or visit or shifts.
  • Messages to HCOs, the Services enable You to send to and receive messages from HCOs.
  • Inquiries and Feedback: comments and questions You submit through customer service interactions with us or survey; and
  • User Generated Content: certain parts of the Services may enable us to receive content You post or upload.
  • Device information and related identifiers: When You use our Services, we and our service providers collect and analyze information such as Your IP address, browser characteristics, device IDs and characteristics, platform type, operating system, and the state or country from which You accessed the Services.
  • Location information: We collect precise location data from Your device with Your consent (and consistent with Your mobile device settings) to track Your location when performing a job, visit, or shift for an HCO.

You may withdraw Your permission and prevent our use of Your information by contacting us directly at info@accredimatch.com. 

How We Use Your Information

We will use the information You provide to us in Your capacity as a Caregiver or HCO Representative for the following purposes:

  • To operate and make available the Services, including to: create and administer Your AccrediMatch account, enable digital invoicing, provide communication between HCOs and Caregivers to request and/or confirm scheduling for healthcare services, facilitate direct messaging between HCOs and Caregivers, disclose Caregiver profiles to their HCOs and vice versa;
  • To verify the accuracy and status of Your licensing credentials with various licensing boards.
  • To respond to Your requests for support and to Your feedback.
  • To provide You with important information about the Services or important changes or additions to our Services.
  • For billing and fraud prevention, on the basis of our legitimate interests in ensuring a safe and secure environment in which Caregivers and HCOs can conduct business and in order to comply with our legal obligations.
  • To conduct identification and criminal background checks, if applicable and to the extent permitted by local law, on Caregivers, for the substantial public interest of ensuring the public safety and preventing or detecting unlawful acts, protecting the public against dishonestly and maintain the integrity of the Services given that Caregivers interact directly with HCOs and their patients.
  • To enforce the AccrediMatch Terms of Service (and/or other contractual agreements) and our legitimate interests in ensuring our agreements are complied with, and as otherwise set forth in our Terms of Service (and/or other contractual agreements).
  • To comply with any procedures, laws and regulations which apply to us, to comply with our legal obligations, to establish and defend our legal rights, or otherwise, where it is necessary for our legitimate interests or the legitimate interests of others.
  • For security and fraud detection purposes, including by detecting, protecting against, and prosecuting security incidents, fraud, and illegal activity and to protect the safety of the Services, our employees, and our users.

Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information

AccrediMatch discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on AccrediMatch’s behalf or to provide services available at AccrediMatch’s websites, and (ii) have agreed not to disclose it to others. Some of those employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using AccrediMatch’s websites, you consent to the transfer of such information to them. AccrediMatch will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to its employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations, as described above, AccrediMatch discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only in response to a subpoena, court order, or other governmental request, or when AccrediMatch believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of AccrediMatch, third parties, or the public at large. If you are a registered user of an AccrediMatch website and have supplied your email address or mobile phone number, AccrediMatch may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with AccrediMatch and our products. We primarily use our various product blogs to communicate this type of information, so we expect to keep this type of email to a minimum. If you send us a request (for example, via a support email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. AccrediMatch takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.

Aggregated Statistics

AccrediMatch may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites. For instance, AccrediMatch may monitor the most popular features or content on our platform. AccrediMatch may display this information publicly or provide it to others.

Cookies

A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. AccrediMatch uses cookies to help AccrediMatch identify and track visitors, their usage of AccrediMatch’s website, and their website access preferences. AccrediMatch visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using AccrediMatch’s websites, with the drawback that certain features of AccrediMatch’s websites may not function properly without the aid of cookies.

Business Transfers

If AccrediMatch, or substantially all of its assets, were acquired, or in the unlikely event that AccrediMatch goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that could be transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur and that any acquirer of AccrediMatch may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.

Ads appearing on any of our websites may be delivered to users by advertising partners, who may set cookies. These cookies allow the ad server to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement to compile information about you or others who use your computer. This information allows ad networks to, among other things, deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be most interesting to you. This Privacy Policy covers the use of cookies by AccrediMatch and does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers.

Although most changes are likely to be minor, AccrediMatch may change its Privacy Policy from time to time and in AccrediMatch’s sole discretion. AccrediMatch encourages visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to its Privacy Policy.
